Here is the World

Here is the world. It is big. So big that we are not even going to try to cover all, most, or even a significant amount of it. We've got ten countries to visit in just three and a half months and we're hoping to get a real feel for each place.

The countries I've visited in my life so far are: New Caledonia, Thailand, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, the USA, Japan and New Zealand. Many of these countries I've been to more than once. In some I've spent only a couple of days, in others much more than that, and in the case of Denmark, more than a year.

The countries Tova has visited in her life so far are: Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Tova hasn't had the chance to travel as much as me although the amount of time she has spent travelling on a single trip is about the same as the amount of time that I've spent on a single trip.

Importantly, we both share a love of travel that is equal to the most seasoned of travellers. This trip will, I hope, become just one of many more in the future, each different and special in its own particular way.
